Rame Road

An artists impression of the new Rame Road clubhouse.

Club President Mat Jensen

After years of planning, we intend to move forward this year with the construction of a new boathouse that will transform how we operate out of Rame Rd. The new shed will enable us to provide a modern training facility, store more equipment, increase our capacity and finally get some showers!

The new facility will feature:

  • Significantly expanded boat storage

  • A second level

  • Modern changing and amenity facilities

  • A dedicated space for indoor training

  • A kitchen and social area

Where We Stand

I'm pleased to report that, at 23/04/2026, we currently have $950k in committed funding and need just $250k to get underway. Progress has been great and to ensure we can proceed in May, we're raising the remaining funds through a fundraising campaign. We feel now is the time to get this project across the line, so the club can shift its efforts towards other projects like Lake Pupuke.

How You Can Be Involved

Pledge $1000 a get small brick in our new facility’s feature wall.

Pledge $2000 and get a large brick in our new facility’s feature wall.

Pledge $5000 and get a large bronze cornerstone brick in our new facility’s feature wall.

Pledge $50,000 and get Naming Rights to one of 3 boat bays.

Pledge $200,000 and get naming rights to the building.

Value in kind - If your business or you know of a business who would be able to assist in the construction, we would love to hear from you.
