After years of planning, we intend to move forward this year with the construction of a new boathouse that will transform how we operate out of Rame Rd. The new shed will enable us to provide a modern training facility, store more equipment, increase our capacity and finally get some showers…

North Shore Masters at the 2025 Head of the Yarra
North Shore lined up at the 2025 Head of the Yarra — Australia’s largest and most iconic eights-only rowing race. This 8km time trial along Melbourne’s Yarra River featured 243 crews and 2,183 competitors from 82 different clubs making it one of the most exciting days on the down under rowing calendar.

When did you first become a member of North Shore Rowing Club?
2010, I was convinced to join by Barrie [Mabbott] and Jeremy [Jones] and help coach the novices. Spent the season at the lake and had great fun with the group of rowers I had that first season.
Revival, resilience, and results -Farewell to Mike Stanley
When Mike Stanley took over as President in 2006, North Shore Rowing Club was at a crossroads. Membership was low, the club had been absent from the NZ Championships, and its future looked uncertain. Mike, drawing on his own distinguished rowing background, provided the leadership and vision to steer the club into a new era.
